8mm video cassette tapes or simply 8mm tapes, were a popular format for recording and playing back analog video in the late 20th century. These tapes were widely used for home video recording and camcorders from the 1980s through the early 2000s.
8mm video cassette tapes come in two main formats: Video8 and Hi8. Video8 was the original format, introduced by Sony in 1985, while Hi8 (short for High-Band Video8) came later and offered improved video and audio quality.
I was so excited to find this in my customer's bag of tapes! Transferred from an 8mm cassette tape, it's in great shape! I'm always amazed at the quality of this old 8mm video. It's the Laker's 2000 Championship Parade! And yes! 2001 is comping soon! Enjoy!
